Redact PDFs Online
Mark sensitive text for redaction and export a PDF with redactions applied. The editor creates redaction annotations and applies them during export.
Workflow
- Open the PDF from your device.
- Choose Redact and select the text that should be removed.
- Review the redaction marks in the editor.
- Export the PDF to apply the redactions to the document.

- The redaction workflow is local to your browser.
- Use flattened export when preparing a final shared copy.
Local editing
PDF editing runs locally in the browser with JavaScript and WebAssembly. PDF files, text, filenames, form values, signatures, and user-entered content are not uploaded.
